GRIFFIN ADJUSTABLE BENCH 2.0
The Griffin Adjustable Bench is designed with three elements in mind: durability, mobility, and versatility. Because this bench is made from 11-gauge and 4-gauge steel, it clocks in at __ lbs and is a tank. At the same time we wanted to design a bench that’s easy to move and store, which means having a horizontal knurled handle paired with wheels for easy moving, along with the ability to store it vertically when not in use.
This bench also comes loaded with 13 back pad positions (-10, 0, 10, 20, 25, 30, 37.5, 45, 52.5, 60, 67.5, 75, 85 degrees) and 5 seat positions (-20, 0, 10, 20, and 30 degrees). A minimal pad gap of 1.25” allows you to adjust the bench and perform movements seamlessly without the discomfort of a large gap. The Adjustable Bench also comes standard with rubber feet on all points that touch the ground for safety and non-slip. The optional leg attachment is attached at the top of the bench and expands your capabilities for decline movements at whatever angle you need.

After researching and analyzing many different adjustable benches (Titan, REP, Vesta, Giant, Delta, Crandall), I came across Griffin by pure accident. I had never heard of them and there were really no reviews or videos for their newer 2.0 adjustable bench. With that being said, I was needing to upgrade from my REP AB-3100 that I have been using. It was perfectly adequate for a basic bench, but I was craving additional adjustment angles and something a little more stable. The REP AB-3100 only has 6 angles versus 13 with the Griffin. And while the REP was fine once I actually was on it with weight, there was definitely some lateral wiggle back and forth. I wanted to know if there was any wiggle with the Griffin so I emailed to inquire. I also wanted to know if there was any protection on the adjustment ladder to protect from any metal on metal contact. The very next day I received a response addressing my questions; there is no wiggle left to right and there is protection on the ladder. So I took a chance and ordered the Griffin adjustable bench. I placed the order on June 24th and the bench arrived on June 28th. The bench came in one big heavy duty box. There was quite a big hole on the underside of the box, but everything inside was intact. The box was incredibly heavy so I took each piece to my basement gym one at a time. The pieces consist of a seat pad, back pad, rear base and wheels, and the main frame. Assembly from start to finish took me about 10 minutes and I used my own socket wrench to put it together. Once assembled, I realized how much of an upgrade this bench was. It is incredibly stable, the back and seat pads are grippy and firm, and the adjustment angles are plentiful. While there are a few nicks here and there, the finish on the frame/metal are smooth and consistent. The protection on the adjustment ladder appears to be a very dense uhmw plastic or something similar. I did some dumbbell chest presses on every angle to test it, and every setting was stable. I also performed some spider curls and chest supported rows and my feet were still able to touch the ground (the bench is longer than my REP AB-3100 and I am only 5’7”). The knurled handles on the front foot and adjustment ladder are a nice touch, and the laser cutting on the angle frame and side are well done. There are also two rubber pads on the underside of the rear base and a big uhmw pad underneath the front foot. Additionally this bench can be stored upright if needed. All in all, I am so happy with this bench and it is literally the last adjustable bench I will ever need. Thank you to Nancy and Hector at Griffin for the awesome customer service and amazing product! I hope this review helps some other people who are in the market for a commercial quality piece of equipment at a non-commercial price!

Solid bench and a great upgrade from my rep one. I wanted an adjustable bench that had a decline option, was decently heavier then my last one, good price and had more adjustments on the back pad and seat and this one checked all the boxes. Looking forward to what attachments they come out with for it. Hoping for sit-up/decline leg rollers and a preacher curl attachment. My only grip is that the pad material seems to stain really easy even though I clean it after every workout. Only took a couple weeks but there is a permanent noticeable stain where my head lays when I bench.
