THE GRIFFIN GR3 LITE POWER RACK
The Griffin GR3 Lite power rack is a classic and customizable power rack perfect for any gym. Rated for 1,000lbs, this power rack is made with 3×3” 11-gauge steel tubing with 5/8″ holes, and features 1” hole spacing in the benching zone and 2” everywhere else. Suitable for home gyms, training facilities, and commercial gyms alike, this power rack stands the test of time and strength.
The power rack itself comes with (4) uprights, (4) crossmembers, a connecting logo crossmember, and premium attachments like a multi-grip pull-up bar, a pair of our flat sandwich j-cups, strap safeties, and black hardware. It is highly recommended to bolt the rack to the ground, but if you do not plan on bolting the rack to the ground and want to use the outside of the rack, we recommend using front foot extensions.
The main differences between the GR3 and the GR3 Lite are going to be the hole size (1” vs 5/8″), hole spacing (2” throughout vs 1” in the benching area and 2” everywhere else), numbering placement (every hole vs every 5 holes on uprights only), and logo plate selection (premium vs standard connecting crossmember). FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
DO I NEED TO BOLT DOWN MY GR3 LITE POWER RACK?
If you plan on using the outside of the rack for lifting, yes. We recommend bolting the rack into concrete or into a platform. The GR3 Lite comes with concrete anchors to help you do so.
If you don’t plan on bolting the GR3 Lite down, we strongly recommend using front foot extensions. This will add more security to the rack for pull-ups or benching outside the rack. Add on a pair of spotter arms that you can use both inside and outside your rack.
IS THE GR3 LITE A TRUE 3×3 POWER RACK?
The GR3 Lite follows metric sizing, meaning that the uprights and crossmembers are 2.95″x2.95.

CAN I ADJUST THE HEIGHT OF THE PULL-UP BAR?
Yes! Because the multi-grip pull-up bar attaches to the crossmembers, you can simply lower the crossmembers to accomodate your space limitations.

WHAT SIZE ATTACHMENTS FIT THE GR3 LITE POWER RACK?
The GR3 Lite is designed with modularity in mind. While we can’t guarantee fitment from other manufacturers, our attachments have 5/8″ pins and are exclusively designed for the GR3 Lite.
HOW IS THE GR3 SHIPPED AND HOW DOES IT WORK?
The GR3 is shipped through freight. All components will go on one pallet. Once we pack your order and ship it out you’ll receive an email confirmation with a link to the tracking info.
As far as what to expect for your shipment, the shipping carrier will call you 24 hours before delivery to schedule an appointment. Someone must be present to accept the delivery and it will be dropped off curbside.

Great power rack!
I’ve been looking for a new rack and came across Griffin in the Facebook GGR group. The rack is a tank. I appreciate that they have redesigned the j-cups and strap safeties. Everything else on the market isn’t as beefy as this. Recommend this to anyone that is looking for a 5/8” rack.
