CAN I PURCHASE ONE WEIGHT STACK AND CABLE SYSTEM?
The Talon system is sold as a complete setup with two trolleys and two weight stacks.
WILL THE TALON ATTACHMENT FIT MY GR3 RACK?
Yes! For now you. must have a 30″ dpeth rack due to the cable length. The attachment lives inside (2) 92″ uprights and (4) 24″ crossmembers that come standard, so if you previously purchased a rack extension you can always use that portion for even more storage. Tip: try winging them out of the rack.
IS THE TALON CABLE ATTACHMENT COMPATIBLE WITH MY RACK?
While we cannot guarantee fitment for non-Griffin racks, we did design this attachment to be more universal. This means that if you have a 3×3″ rack with 1″ holes, it will most likely fit but this also depends on hole spacing and the height of your rack. We recommend shooting us an email to confirm fitment. The Talon Cable Attachment is currently available for 92″ racks.
WHAT IF I ALREADY HAVE A 6-POST RACK?
The attachment comes standard with (2) 92″ uprights and (4) 24″ crossmembers because the height of the uprights determine the height of the rods. The weight stacks also live in 24″ crossmembers and selling everything as a kit ensures fitment.
WHAT DOES A 2:1 RATIO MEAN?
A 2:1 pulley ratio means that 50lbs feels like 25lbs. This ratio is perfect for functional training because the cable travels faster and smoother.
WHAT’S THE DEPTH OF THE CROSSMEMBERS THAT THE WEIGHT STACK LIVES IN?
The weight stack and cable system live in 24″ crossmembers. The Talon Cable Attachment comes standard with (2) 92″ uprights and (4) 24″ crossmembers.
